ABB’s Terra 360 is now available for use by Norway’s rapidly expanding community of EV drivers at the Oasen Shopping Center in Bergen and in the ski resort of Geilo, thanks to a partnership with Eviny, the country’s e-mobility leader.
The pilot installations, which will be followed by a more widespread roll out in Norway and Sweden, serve as a further demonstration of the ability of ABB charging technology to perform in extreme weather conditions and enable sustainable transport solutions in the most locations possible.
With dynamic power distribution, the stations can simultaneously charge up to two vehicles. The Terra 360, with a maximum output of 360 kW, is a future-proof solution capable of fully charging an electric vehicle in 15 minutes or less.

Norway aims to become the first nation to ban the sale of gasoline- and diesel-powered vehicles by 2025. The percentage of pure EV sales is by far the highest in the world, accounting for 64.5% of all new cars sold in 2021, or nearly two out of every three vehicles. Eviny is actively facilitating the transition to electric vehicles in Norway, with over 400 fast chargers installed in over 150 locations.
ABB’s Terra 360 represented the best choice for Eviny‘s latest network expansion as their CEO, Jannicke Hilland explains: “For several years we have been involved in the Norwegian transition into e-mobility. The Terra 360 offers speed and convenience in addition to comfort, usability, and familiarity. It offers an innovative lighting system to guide the user through the charging process, a simple State of Charge display, and 5m charging cables that are both flexible and lightweight. It is also accessible by wheelchair.
