VAIMOO, the Angel Group‘s connected e-bike sharing solution, announces the renewal of its partnership with CityBike Global, the market leader in the micromobility industry in Spain, for the new generation of the e-bike sharing service (dubbed Mevo) in the Gdansk, Gdynia, and Sopot Metropolitan Areas in Poland.
The strategic partnership between VAIMOO and CityBike Global, which is already present in Europe and Latin America with over 30.000 vehicles, continues to bear fruit: the Spanish company has chosen the Italian manufacturer to supply smart e-bikes once again. After being selected as a partner for Stockholm’s upcoming e-bike sharing system, VAIMOO will deliver 3.360 smart e-bikes to the Metropolitan Area of Gdansk, Gdynia, and Sopot.
Thousands of new, efficient, and sustainable vehicles with a recycled aluminum frame and a large capacity fast-swappable battery will be available 24 hours a day, all year. The e-bikes, manufactured by VAIMOO, will be integrated into CityBike Global’s fleet management and operation. Additionally, the vehicles will be compatible with third-party transportation systems and will allow citizens to park in virtual stations following their rental, resulting in a sustainable and flexible mobility service in their urban area.
