ERTICO – ITS Europe and the International Road Federation (IRF) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance safer, more efficient, and more sustainable modes of transport and mobility. The partnership will facilitate the exchange of knowledge and expertise and will advance the active discussion of critical transportation and mobility issues. The two organizations intend to host joint events to foster collaboration in their respective areas of expertise in Intelligent Transportation Systems and Services (ITS) and innovation.
ERTICO-ITS Europe’s mission is to foster the development, promotion, and deployment of intelligent mobility services for the benefit of all stakeholders through a multi-stakeholder action platform. IRF’s mission is to advance the development of road systems that enable equitable access and sustainable mobility for all by establishing multi-stakeholder partnerships, assisting countries in developing capacity, and facilitating access to best practices and industry solutions. Both organizations serve a diverse range of member organizations in the road and transportation industry, both public and private. Together, they strengthen their global network for the exchange of information and expertise and serve as a platform for the next generation of transportation leaders.
