David had worked in the automotive sector for nearly 20 years before joining ZF Services UK in 2003 and had worked in the wind, marine, rail and defence markets until 2021 when David became UK sales manager for ZF’s newly developed Autonomous Transport System (ATS).  

ZF’s autonomous transport system offers a concept to ease the pressure on urban districts and connect rural areas more conveniently. A network of electrically powered driverless shuttles with on-demand scheduling and a seamless connection to other public transport systems such as buses and trains represents a true alternative to privately owned cars.
