Before joining FMCI, Diarmuid worked as the R&D Funding Manger for British Petroleum’s’ solar PV subsidiary, ‘Lightsource bp;’ where he managed various projects including grid flexibility and electric vehicle (EV) charging. Previous to this, Diarmuid was the team lead for marine infrastructure at the Irish Marine Institute where he led a team focused on environmental monitoring infrastructure including underwater autonomous vehicles (UAV’s), projects’ which were mainly funded through various national and European funding mechanisms.
