Dr Flaithrí Neff is an academic at the Technological University of the Shannon where he conducts research on multimodal sensor-fusion in rural Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (rural C-ITS). He leads NSAI’s national committee for intelligent transport at ISO and CEN, and is a principal contributor to the national IRLDAT pilot in framing roadside datasets on open-data FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable).
