Gillian Barry, with over 24 years of experience, currently leads Innovation & Enterprise at The Technological University of the Shannon (TUS), notable for supporting the launch and growth of over 100 new enterprises annually across four Incubation & Acceleration centres, two New Frontiers programmes, Student Inc and ESA Solutions Centre amongst other initiatives. As the Co-Director of Startup Grind Limerick, she extends her expertise in nurturing business innovation and entrepreneurship and supporting the creation of a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem. Gillian is a seasoned board director and chairperson with current positions at The Learning Hub, Limerick Chamber of Commerce, The Forge Design Factory, and a number of community enterprise centres. She holds a first-class Executive MBA from UCC and is on track to complete her Doctorate (DBA) with SETU by early 2024.
