Graham Brennan is the Head of Vehicle Standards with the Road Safety Authority. His group is responsible for developing and implementing vehicle legislation at national, EU and UN levels and ensuring manufacturers comply with relevant standards. Vehicle Standards are the market surveillance authority for road vehicles ensuring vehicles are safe for people and the environment. They develop the test procedures used in the national car test programme. Prior to joining RSA, Graham worked for Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland developing the Electric Vehicle, Ocean Energy and Renewable Energy R&D Programmes. He also worked for Rolls-Royce Aircraft Engines and is graduate of Cranfield University and University of Galway.
