Michal Reut Gelbart

Mobility Lead

Michal is the Mobility Lead with KPMG’s Strategy team. She promotes smart mobility and helps to reduce Ireland’s dependency on private cars by promoting more active and sustainable travel –walking, cycling and public transport.

Michal was previously the CEO of Future Mobility IL, an Israel-based non-profit NGO that seeks to promote implementation of smart mobility solutions and reduce road congestion and air pollution via targeted public and private sector engagement. She is a specialist in the MaaS (Mobility as a Service) revolution and sustainable transportation.

Additionally, Michal has extensive experience in public policy, having served in the Budget Division at the Israeli Ministry of Finance where she was responsible for national innovation and higher education system budgets. Michal has experience as an economist in a globally listed high-tech company and in a global consulting firm in the corporate finance team.

Michal holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Relations from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a master’s in Business Administration (com laude) from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
