Nick is a two-time Formula One World Constructors’ Championship winning engineer turned start-up founder. With more than a decade of experience across both advanced mechanical engineering and mathematical/scientific software development, his background spans seven F1 seasons, from 2012 through 2018, and encompasses naturally aspirated and turbocharged hybrid powertrain development, vehicle dynamics, and race strategy. Outside of motorsport, his experience includes developing digital signal processing techniques for the biomedical sector, and is complemented by time spent developing financial modelling and analytics software alongside world-renowned Cambridge astrophysicists. Motivated by a desire to make realising complex hardware faster, more traceable, and less frustrating, he founded Anneal—The Engineering OS for Complex Hardware Development.
