Jean-Christoph Heyne – Global Head of Future Grids at Siemens Smart Infrastructure
Jean-Christoph Heyne has held the position of Global Head of Future Grids at Siemens Smart Infrastructure since November 2018. Together with his team, Jean-Christoph Heyne is driving transformation in eMobility, infrastructure and smart energy. His areas of responsibility include photovoltaics, energy storage, grid connection and power electronics. Previously, he was Senior Vice President Strategy in Siemensâ€™ Energy Management Division.
After leaving university, he joined Siemens Management Consulting in 2001. Based in Munich, he started his career as a consultant and project manager until 2007 when he moved to China as Head and Vice President at Siemens Management Consulting in Beijing.
Born on November 17, 1975 in Bergisch Gladbach, Jean-Christoph Heyne has a masterâ€™s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
He has been an executive member of the Association of German Industrial Engineers and at delta Karlsruhe GmbH: Student Management Consulting.
