PANEL: THE FUTURE OF MOBILITY

Broadcasting Live & Online @Electronomous – The International Mobility Summit on November 12th at 14:15 CET

We are excited to team up with EUSP for this year’s event. As part of our Collaboration The team at European Start Up Prize for Mobility will be hosting a session on THE FUTURE OF MOBILITY.  This special Programme will include, special guests from across the Mobility landscape including a Pitch Session with three of this year’s finalists.

The European Startup Prize for mobility (EUSP) is a EU-founded Acceleration and Investment Programme for sustainable mobility start-ups. It was created in 2017 by Karima Delli, Chairwoman of the European Parliament’s Committee on Transport and Tourism, Boston Consulting Group and Via ID.

We are delighted to be hosted by the Electronomous – The International Mobility Summit and meet its broad and high-level ecosystem. Smart mobility entrepreneurs need our support more than ever this year; it only made sense to team up to give them international visibility and show to investors why it is the right moment to invest in European start-up’s products and services.”

About the Prize

The European Startup Prize for mobility (EUSP) is a EU-founded Acceleration and Investment Programme for sustainable mobility start-ups. It was created in 2017 by Karima Delli, Chairwoman of the European Parliament’s Committee on Transport and Tourism, Boston Consulting Group and Via ID.

Supported by both the European Parliament and the European Commission, together with major mobility corporations such as Groupe ADP, GRDF, Europcar Mobility Group and RATP Group, this public-private initiative aims to support and scale up smart and sustainable mobility startups all across Europe.

Each year, 500+ startups apply to its Acceleration and Investment programme. The EUSP provides multiple investment opportunities as a “one-stop-shop” to EU funds (European Commission, European Investment Bank, EIT InnoEnergy and EIT Urban Mobility) and private investors (via a Demo Day / 130+ investors and corporates attending in 2020).

The EUSP is also an advocacy organisation that aims to structure and raise up the voices of the green innovation ecosystem. A “European Mobility Startup Manifesto” was published earlier this year to take part in the European Commission’s Smart and Sustainable Mobility Strategy. The EUSP also provides cities and regional authorities with startup’s solutions and products.

Last but not least, a Grand Ceremony will take place on the 13th of January 2021 (TBC) in order to showcase our 10 best startups in front of EU decision makers (among others: Vice-president Maros Sefvocic at the European Commission in charge of the EU Battery Alliance, Karima Delli Chairwoman of the Committee on Transport at the European Parliament, Lilyana Pavlova Vice-president for Transport at the European Investment Bank and HSH Albert II of Monaco, Prince of  Monaco) and appoint the top 4 that will benefit from a tailor-made mentoring from BCG and visibility in front of EU decision makers.
